Hi Folks. I’m Ozmen, and I work as a tire designer/engineer. I understand finding a tire isn’t easy, as there are so many variables involved. But with me around, tire selection would never bother you again. Learn More About Me.

Hankook Dynapro AT2 vs General Grabber ATX
The Hankook Dynapro AT2 does better on dry roads, in terms of traction (comes with higher speed ratings), and comfort by offering a much quieter ride. Moreover the tire is also more fuel efficient despite having a greater weight. The Grabber ATX on the other side, supply superior, wet traction, tread life, and overall off-road performance.

Kumho Road Venture AT52 vs Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT
So overall, keep in mind that, if you are mostly traveling on wet roads, you should consider Cooper AT3 here. The tire would also provide superior tread life, and is better off-road here in comparison. The Kumho AT52 on the other side, is great when it comes to winter traction, dry traction, and fuel efficiency.

Hankook Dynapro ATM vs Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT
So overall, it comes down to this. The Hankook AT2 is a better tire when you consider, dry on-road traction, tread life, and overall comfort (in terms of noise). And on the other side, the Cooper Discoverer AT3 is superior on wet roads, fuel efficiency and provides better off-road traction especially on softer terrains.

Hankook Dynapro AT2 vs Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT
So overall, we saw here that even though Cooper AT3 is good with directional grip, the overall on-road performance (dry), is seen better on Hankook AT2. Moreover, the tire also does great with tread life, and winter traction. And off-road its great with rocky terrains, with its 3 ply sidewalls.

Mickey Thompson Deegan 38 AT vs Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT
So let me conclude all of it here quickly. The Mickey Thompson 38 AT provides superior dry grip, and is great off-road on muddy terrains. Whereas the Cooper AT3 does better with wet grip, comfort, fuel and tread life, and off-road, yields superb sand traction.

BF Goodrich Trail Terrain vs Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S
Overall it all comes down to this. Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S although gives you a great wet traction, and tread life, it lacks in fuel economy and on-road comfort (in terms of noise). BF Goodrich Trail Terrain on the other side, does well, with the rest, but wet traction, and off-road it's great on all terrains, but lacks in mud, comparatively.

General Grabber APT vs Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S
So overall, the Cooper AT3 is a better pick for pavements, roads, and highways, both in wet and dry environments. This is because it provides better traction (grip), steering response, fuel economy and tread life. The General Grabber APT although is good enough on dry, really lacks on wet roads, but it's a better tire for off-road use, in nearly all types of (mild) off-road terrains.

Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure vs Cooper AT3 XLT
Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure is better tire to have for highways. It's yields slightly better grip and handling efficacy in both wet and dry environments. Moreover, the tire is also better with fuel, tread wear and on-road comfort.

Mickey Thompson Baja Legend EXP vs Nitto Ridge Grappler
Out of both tires, the Mickey Thompson EXP yields better results when it comes to mud and sand traction, it features longer tread life, and you'd get better comfort on roads as well, here. On the other hand, the Ridge Grappler provides superior rock and snow grip, a quieter ride, and a better fuel economy. Other than this, both tires have similar traction values on both dry and wet roads (well, there's more to it, as I've explained, but for sake of summarizing, it can be said).
